About Us

Arizona East Valley Juniors is celebrating its 22nd season of operation as a girls' volleyball club. Starting with one team in early 1990, over the past 20 years East Valley Juniors has become one of the strongest clubs in Arizona. Last year we fielded 16 teams and were home to over 180 girls from more than 50 different schools. Athletes from Ahwatukee-Foothills, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Phoenix, Queen Creek, Scottsdale, Tempe and more come to East Valley Juniors for the excellence of its coaching, facilities, and history.

Arizona East Valley Juniors strives to provide the best over-all experience for every young athlete, whether she is a potential scholarship athlete or a hopeful for her school team. Every coach at East Valley has extensive volleyball coaching and/or playing experience and believes in the worth of each individual athlete. We train athletes from 9-18 years of age, from grades 4-12. We have teams in the following divisions: 12 and under, 13 and under, 14 and under, 15 and under, 16 and under, 17 and under, and 18 and under. We have both traveling (includes out of state travel and competition) and training (in state travel and competition only) teams.

Where are we?

We will hold practices at one main location in Tempe - Court One - for the 2010-2011 season. Practices will be scheduled Monday through Friday (mainly M/W/F) between the hours of 4:00 and 9:30pm. Days and times vary depending on the team.

When is our season?

Arizona East Valley Juniors operates under the auspices of USA Volleyball (USAV) in the Arizona Region of USAV. The season runs from mid-November or late-November (depending on the age group) until the end of April (12's), early May (13-14's) or late May (15's-18's) for Region play. Travel teams participating in Nationals or post-season tournaments may play as late as the end of June/first week of July. Tryouts are scheduled for mid-November or late-November (depending on the age group).
