A special congratulations to the following teams for their finishes: 18 Mizuno for 3rd place, 16 Mizuno for 5th place, 14 Mizuno for 2nd place, 13 Mizuno for 7th place, 13 Navy for 13th place, and 12 Mizuno for 5th place.

The AZ East Valley Juniors volleyball team brought home a third-place finish from the Arizona Volleyball Festival, the highest ranking for a local team since... 6/22/2012: Congratulations to Emily Masterson of EVJ 18-Mizuno for her selection as one of the Renaissance Girl Award recipients for Festival. She will be featured in the Festival Spirit Magazine, recognized during Opening Ceremonies, take part in a special recognition dinner and she will receive a $500 award towards college expenses. Emily was selected for her dedicated service to being a student-athlete and a young lady of character! Congratulations Emily! Congratulations to the EVJ 11 Mizuno for their 1st place finish in the Flight 1 bracket at Regionals. 5/2/2012: Congratulations to the EVJ 16 White team and coaches for their 4th place finish in the 16's Championship Regional tournament this past weekend! They finished 4th out of 46 teams and played an EXCELLENT day of volleyball! We are so proud of you! Way to go girls! Congratulations!!

East Valley Juniors is proud to congratulate EVJ 18 Mizuno Head Coach Joe Hesse as the Div I 5A State Champion Head Coach of the Gilbert Tigers and to announce the addition of Jim Kann (current Basha H.S. Head Volleyball Coach with 25 years of high school volleyball coaching experience) to our 18’s program and the EVJ family. Coach Kann will assist Coach Hesse with the 18 Mizuno team. Congratulations Joe and welcome to EVJ Jim! The Gilbert Tigers beat Horizon in a hard fought 5-set match on November 7th.
